In a rugged self-contained case, it has the electronic sophistication to detect lightning over 64km away, and to accurately track a storm’s approach and departure with both it’s large LED visual alerts and its audible alert horn. The LED alerts cover four ranges, 0-5 km/5-13 km/13-32 km/32-64km, providing vital information when a storm is moving towards, away from or parallel to your location. Its audible horn is set by the user to any strike range to make a storm easier to monitor. Not only does EWS-PRO-2 allow for an informed decision as to when to evacuate the area, it also informs you when it is safe in the area to resume operations or outdoor activities again.
